Jeska’s Journey: A Portrait of Strength, Healing, and Survival

Through every surgery, every chemo session, and every scar—Jeska kept showing up. For her children. For her healing. And most importantly, for herself.

Diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer, Jeska has faced it all: a liver surgery, a full rectal removal, a temporary ostomy bag, and the emotional journey of shaving her head. Yet, in the face of it all, she stands tall—grounded in faith, movement, and unwavering mindfulness.

Yoga, natural healing, and community have been her anchors. While conventional medicine helped heal her body, it’s been the inner work that’s kept her spirit strong.

Watching her body change has been one of the hardest parts of this journey. But Jeska has chosen to see those changes not as losses, but as powerful reminders of everything she’s survived.

This portrait session isn’t just about capturing her image—it’s about honoring a chapter of her story. A love letter to the strength, resilience, and grace it took to show up each day with courage.

To every survivor navigating this road: You are not just surviving. You are living. And that’s what makes you extraordinary.
